Borrowed from Nature is a floral design studio led by Louise. Rooted in Warwickshire, we specialise in crafting organic, seasonal designs that bring the outside in.
We cater to all of life’s chapters – creating bespoke florals for weddings, events, and sympathy tributes, as well as offering home styling and creative workshops locally and across the UK.
ABOUT LOUISE
Hi, I’m Louise, the florist behind Borrowed from Nature
After 20 years working in FMCG and project management, I realised I wanted to explore something more creative, so I went back to college.
Retraining as a qualified, professional florist opened up a whole new world for me – a space where planning, design and imagination could come together.
After completing my level 2 city and guilds floristry qualification, I studied for a further two years as an advanced technical florist, which really developed my passion for the artistry behind floral design and helped me discover my own unique style.
Working with flowers has truly sparked a deeper love for the seasons and the natural landscape around me; there’s something so inspiring about how colours, textures and shapes shift throughout the year.
My approach is down-to-earth and collaborative, whether I am working on a wedding, a farewell tribute or styling a space for a seasonal moment, I aim to make the process simple, supportive and enjoyable. Clear communication, thoughtful design and attention to detail are at the heart of everything I do.
If you have ideas, I’ll help shape them. If you’re not sure where to start, I will guide you. Either way, we’ll create something beautiful and personal to you.
My Philosophy
I believe flowers should feel effortless, natural and personal.
My approach is simple: create designs that feel true to the season, true to the setting and truly unique to the person they are being designed for.
I focus on thoughtful details, considered choices and designs that enhance a moment rather than overwhelm it.

Sustainability
At Borrowed from Nature, sustainability isn’t a trend — it’s a commitment.
I’m on a journey to become the most sustainable florist I can be, constantly learning, adapting and improving the way I work.
I choose seasonal flowers wherever possible, support UK growers where I can and avoid floral foam or single use plastics in my designs.
Every arrangement is created with an eco-conscious mindset, using techniques which minimise waste and work in harmony with nature.
