Hi!… It’s lovely to meet you, I’m Louise, the florist behind Borrowed from Nature..
After 20 years in the corporate world, working in the fast-paced environment of FMCG and project management, I decided to follow a long-standing pull towards creativity and a slower, more meaningful way of working.
What began as a curiosity soon became a complete career change. Over the last four years, I’ve retrained as a professionally qualified florist, building my technical skills, completing advanced floristry training, and developing my own style that celebrates the perfectly imperfect beauty of nature.
Borrowed From Nature is my floral design studio based in the Warwickshire countryside.
I specialise in seasonal styling, weddings and events and fully compostable farewell flowers.
I am on a journey to become as sustainable as I possibly can and I am excited to learn more about eco conscious design and more sustainable ways of working.
I am inspired by what each season naturally offers, using seasonal flowers, foraged textures and natural materials to create designs that feel effortless, textural and beautifully authentic.
My approach is simple:

Every design is inspired by the natural landscape – wild shapes, soft movement, natural textures celebrating the individuality of each stem.
Nothing is forced, instead, I celebrate the organic lines and small quirks that make nature so beautiful.
